First you need to get a temporary password from the TD bank near you or call the TD support team for the same. Then, you need to download the TD app and start online banking with TD bank.
Once you are ready with the temporary password, just follow the series of steps given below and log-in to your TD bank account from the web app.
Step 1: Log in to TD EasyWeb App
After installing the app, you need to enter your Username and Access Card number . Next, enter the temporary password in the respective field titled as “Password ”.
Then, hit the “Log-in ” button.
Step 2: Get Started
After you successfully perform the registration and sign-in using the temporary password, you will be needed to enable the Two-Step Verification. This will tighten the security of your online bank account. You will receive an OTP on your mobile whenever you try to log-in into your account.
After this, go through all the security steps and select Get Started .
Then, thoroughly read all the Terms of Use and click “I Agree to these terms ” followed by “Agree ”.
Step 3: Verify Your Phone Number
Next, you will be needed to provide your mobile phone number to receive the security code.
(Make sure you change the country code if you are living outside Canada.)
You get the liberty to register up to five phone numbers and give each one a unique name for easier identification.
Tap Continue from the bottom of the screen.
If the number that you have provided is correct, click on the Confirm button.
You get the option to verify your number now or later, make sure you select Verify Number.
(If you want to register successfully, make sure you verify the number then and there).
(But if you want to skip it, click on No Thanks and move to the next step.)
However, to verify your number, you need to enter a security code. To receive the security code, you need to make a choice between two options namely via text or call.
Note: Standard message charges, data rates, and roaming costs may apply.
The TD bank or its employees never call you to ask for the code and would never authorize anyone to collect the security code. So, beware of spammers.
After you receive the text or call regarding the security code of 6 digits, provide the code in the Enter Security Code field and hit the Enter button.
There is a feature to add up to 5 phone numbers and verify in the same manner. Else, click Continue if you only want to keep one at a time.
(By adding more than one number, you can access TD online banking and mobile banking using all the added numbers)
Click No , if you don’t want to add more numbers.
Step 4: Type in Your Email Address
Enter the email address which you want to provide for receiving the security alerts.
Next, click Continue from the bottom of the screen.
If the email address that you have added is correct, click on Confirm .
Step 5: Check and select security login options
Go through all the security login options and pick the one that suits you. Click Submit from the bottom.
After you are done with the security setup, click on Continue .
Step 6: Create a New Password
Type in the Temporary Password that you received from the TD branch , in the Current Password field.
Create a new password of your choice. Make sure the password consists of 8 to 32 characters, with at least one letter, and one number. It is recommended to use a combination of upper, lower case letters and special characters like an exclamation mark, question mark and ampersand. Never repeat the password that you’ve kept somewhere else and only create a unique and fresh password for better security.
Make sure you memorize your password quite well to skip the chance of forgetting or losing your password.
Confirm New Password by retyping it.
Click Done .
Now you will be directed to the homepage of your TD bank account .
