First, we are going to discuss the Internet banking technique. But to opt for Internet banking services, you’ll need to register for Internet banking and link your bank account to it.
You can easily do that with your SBI YONO app or from any nearest SBI branch. Now read and follow the steps:
Go to OnlineSBI . Under the Personal Banking column, click on log in . Enter your Username and Password . Select e-services, and click on the ATM card services option. On the new page, click on New ATM Card Activation . On the next page, select your account type, and enter your 16-digit ATM card number . Re-enter in the next column to confirm.Click on Activate. Verify your details and click on Confirm . Your registered phone number will get a security password, copy and paste it on the page. And finally, click on Confirm . After this, a message like “ATM card has been activated successfully” will appear on the page. If you still have issues, you can visit your nearest SBI branch.

2. Activate SBI Debit Card through YONO App Launched in 2017; YONO is SBI’s digital banking platform. It’s an online bank that provides access to many financial services to SBI’s account holders. You can do a lot with the YONO application, but let’s first discuss how to activate the card pin through the app.
If you have newly downloaded the app, follow the steps:
Launch the YONO app . Enter your Username and Password , and log in. Tap on More . Select Service Request . Select ATM/Debit card services . Enter your Profile Password . Select ATM/Debit Card Activation . Fill in your 16-digit ATM card number . Click on Next . Enter the OTP you received on your mobile number.
